Q4
Holiday gifting,
and the budget that expires with it.
Two things land in the same three weeks: the gift your people actually get, and the line in the budget that does not roll over. The useful date is not 25 December. It is the day an order has to be approved for the pieces to be in hand before people stop coming to work.
The dates, with the arithmetic shown
Order early, and here is what early means.
Your pieces are embroidered after the order is approved, not before. Production takes up to five business days, transit another three to five inside the US, so eight to ten business days from payment, typically. We ship within the United States only. That is our published lead time, not a seasonal promise. Working forward from it:
- Now to 20 November. Pieces and colours chosen, mark digitised, a sample order if you want to hold one. This is the unhurried part and it is the part people skip.
- Approve by 10 December. Eight to ten business days from approval puts a US delivery around the 22nd to the 24th. This is a lead-time guide from our real production and transit times, not a cut-off we are inventing to rush you.
- After 10 December. Ask. Sometimes it is makeable and sometimes it is not, and we would rather say so than take the order and miss.
What to send
One good piece beats a box of several.
A heavyweight hoodie or crew in a colour somebody would have chosen themselves, with the mark stitched small, gets worn. Sizes are the usual failure point, so let people pick their own through a staff store and ship to their own address.
