For Heads of People and Employee Experience

A company store for employees,
without the spreadsheet.

Your people pick their own piece, their own colour and their own size, and it ships to their own door. You are billed, they are not. Nobody chases forty-eight addresses in a spreadsheet, and nobody ends up with a 2XL hoodie they did not ask for.

The thing itself

What a staff store actually is.

A private page on your own address, behind a password you share internally. Not a public shop, not a catalogue of other people's products. Here is exactly what it does today, and nothing it does not.

  1. A password page. One password, shared however you share things internally. No accounts to create.
  2. Your pieces, your colours. Tee, crewneck, hoodie, zip hoodie, cap and tote, in the colours you approve, with one embroidery position per piece.
  3. The person chooses. Piece, colour, size, placement and thread colour, then their own shipping address.
  4. No price is shown to staff. Every piece reads $0 to them. Your company is billed.
  5. Every order holds until you approve it. Orders arrive with a HOLD status and nothing is charged and nothing is produced until someone on your side says yes. Per-person caps and a maximum per order are set with you and flagged on the order.
  6. It is made and shipped. Your pieces are embroidered after the order is approved, not before. Production takes up to five business days, transit another three to five inside the US, so eight to ten business days from payment, typically. We ship within the United States only.
Said plainly, because it matters: SEWN does not charge a card in the background today. Approval is a human step on your side, on purpose, and we would rather tell you that than let you discover it in week two.

Onboarding

A new-hire kit that does not need a stockroom.

The reason onboarding kits go stale is that someone has to guess sizes and hold boxes. Make-to-order removes both. A new starter gets the store link in their first-week email, picks what they want, and it arrives at their house. You hold nothing, and the kit never has to be re-bought when the logo changes.

Why embroidery

It survives the wash, and it reads as a gift.

A printed logo is a layer sitting on the fabric. Stitching is thread through it. It does not crack, it does not peel, and it is the difference between something your team wears on a Saturday and something that lives in a drawer. We put your real mark in real thread, including the colours a print shop would have told you to simplify.

Questions Heads of People ask

Does the staff member see a price?

No. On a staff store the pieces show as $0 to the person ordering. The company is billed, not the employee, and nobody has to expense anything or hand over a card.

What stops someone ordering twenty hoodies?

Two things. Every order lands with a HOLD on it and nothing is made or charged until someone at the company approves it, and each store carries a per-person limit and a maximum pieces per order that we set with you.

Do we have to collect everyone’s size and address?

No. The person picks their own piece, colour, size and placement and gives their own shipping address. That is the part that usually kills an internal gifting project, and it is the part the store removes.

How long does a programme take?

Production is up to five business days once an order is approved and transit is another three to five inside the US, so eight to ten business days from payment, typically. We ship within the United States only.

Is there a set-up fee?

No. Digitising your mark into a stitch file is at SEWN’s cost, not yours.

Headcount, pieces, date.

That is everything we need to come back with a real number. If you would rather hold one first, order samples.
